Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Scientific skills
    • In response to situations and aware of the methodological limitations: - Use common techniques of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, studies of tissues and organs (i.e. link a macroscopic phenomenon to microscopic processes). - Use an experimental device in a biological model, know and use the concepts and techniques of animal physiology.

Learning Outcomes of UE

The aim of this course is to provide students with advanced notions of the structure and function of the different elements of human ocular globes. At the end of the course, the students will be able to understand the morphology and physiology of ocular structures giving rise to normal vision and the principal pathologies affecting the human eye.

Content of UE

Cytological and histological advanced description of human eye components. Functions of the different eye structures and major pathologies affecting human vision.
