Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Describe, organise, analyse and prioritise the phenomena observed in the medical field
    • Understand and use different graphical representations of numerical values and their relationships
    • Know the standard physical examination, as well as recognise and describe clinical symptoms
  • Control the molecular, morphological and functional approaches of normal and pathological conditions
    • Explain the relationships between molecular, morphological and functional changes and pathological conditions, their clinical signs and symptoms
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills developed within a medical context
    • Use a rich vocabulary accurately linking concepts and words, and understand the prefixes and suffixes used in the medical field
    • Adapt lexical and syntactic choices in communication register (everyday language, medical language or scientific terminology)
    • Work in a team
  • Develop reasoning skills
    • Develop critical thinking, test and monitor conclusions understanding the domain of validity, and explore alternative hypotheses
    • Integrate reasoning in clinical approaches

    • Understand the organisation of the health system and its social dimension

Learning Outcomes of UE

This placement allows for socio-professional integration. It will allow the student to become aware of the complex relationship between doctor, patient, family and paramedics. Students will observe basic nursing procedures and will be attentive to the rules of medical conduct (professionalism, punctuality, availability, ethics, etc.) and will respect hospital hygiene and ethical practices. This placement will link theoretical knowledge and practice through complementing students' knowledge with scientific literature and helping to improve their skills through practical work.
