Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Adopt a specialist approach to speech sciences. Master the concepts, techniques, methods, and devices specific to speech sciences so that they can be used in research practice.
- Understand basic speech signal analysis techniques.
- Understand the basic concepts of phonology.
- Understand the basic concepts of phonetics.
- Understand the relations between phonetics, phonology, psycholinguistics and general linguistics.
- Justify the relevance of a research piece on speech sciences given the current state of science.
