Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Mobilise a structured set of scientific knowledge and skills and specialised techniques in order to carry out missions of chemical engineering and materials science, using their expertise and adaptability.
    • Master and appropriately apply knowledge, models, methods and techniques specific to the field of chemistry and materials science.

Learning Outcomes of UE

To master the basic knowledge required to correlate the mechanical behaviours of materials with their crystal structures and microstructures.

Content of UE

Mechanical behaviour modelling; mechanical properties characterisation; elastic behaviour of crystalline solids, of glasses, of polymers and composites; plasticity of metals and metals alloys; influence of temperature on the mechanical behaviour.
