Learning Outcomes of UE

By the end of this unit, the student will be able to establish a diagnostic based on calculations (taking strength and deformations aspects into account) prior to any foundation or retaining work project. For this purpose and in any situation, he ( she) will be able to choose, prescribe and then perform interpretation of usual soil test(s) that will bring him (her) the data on which he (she) will base his (her) calculation. Aware of technical and economical issues, his (her) answer will be justified and precisely balanced.
