Content of Learning Activity
The AA will be organized around a "sociology of controversies": how a public debate do emerge? How a public debate is managed? By what kind of actors?
Some major sociological concepts will be mobilized - social fields; social conventions; social networks - in order to understand social controversies. Students will work by groups to write a sociological paper about a social controversy.
