Content of Learning Activity
The first part is devoted to the presentation of the basic concepts of physics, the reaction chemistry and water chemistry, thermodynamics and heat transfer.
-Physics: nature and propagation of light, reflection, refraction, color perception, earth's energy budget ; description of the movements; mechanical work- power; potential energy - kinetic energy; law of conservation of energy ; unidimensional collisions; semiconductor.
-Chemistry:composition of the atmosphere and lithosphere; pH; redox reactions, radical reactions in the atmosphere, water chemistry
- thermodynamics: first law of thermodynamics, energy principles of thermodynamic cycle machines phase diagrams; power Joule machines; power Hirn machines, combustion engines , coefficient of performance ; thermochemical storage
- Heat transfer: heat flow; convection, conduction and radiation; heat exchangers
Second part is devoted to natural environment (spheres, cycles, mineral and energy resources); entropic impact (greenhouse effect, ozone layer, acid rain); energy and mineral consumption; sustainable development; systems of conversion, production of energy and their impacts, impact of full industrial process : raw material, energy consumption , gases emissions, waste, wastewater treatment, gases treatments, waste management.
