Content of Learning Activity
After a review of the structure of DNA, its modifications and gene expression ( replication , transcription, translation and compensation ), the course will cover the main techniques related to molecular biology , the genetic engineering ( electrophoresis of DNA , DNA cloning , restriction enzyme , ...) to transgenesis ; but also more modern techniques derived from the discovery of the human genome as microarray DNA , or pharmacogenomics techniques that lead us towards personalized medicine . The exercises and practical work will illustrate the theoretical lecture.

The lecture will be illustrated by a slide show and Power Point animations . The slide of each course will be available to students via the Moodle platform .
