Content of Learning Activity
Combinational and synchronous sequential logic;
Information processing: binary representation, manipulation and protection;
Algorithmic State Machines
Basics: processor and machine language, main memory, input-output, bus; CISC/RISC machines, superscalars;
Specific machines: digital signal processors, graphic processors;
Illustrations are based on 8-bit microprocessors (Intel 8051 and Microchip PIC16) programming in assembly and C language, computer organization, memory architecture, memory access, interrupts, timers, UART communication, I2C, PWM, interactions (LCD, LED, button), and code optimization.
