      Content of Learning Activity

      <strong><u>Deep drilling :</u></strong><strong> </strong>Well conception, its architecture and réalisation. Drilling rig description, rig selection according to the well needed. Drillstring analysis and description of its different components. Drill bits description and selection- drilling parameters. Drilling fluids and their basic characteristics. Casing and wellhead design. Basic on cementation technology. Introduction to directional drilling. <strong><u>Reservoir engineering:</u></strong>  Rock petrophysics and basic on well logging. Basic on hydrocarbon thermodynamic (oil & gas). Fluid flow in porous media and well test interpretation (draw-down and build-up test).  Estimation of the recoverable reserves (primary production). Basic on well completion (completion tools reviewed and application)
