Loadings (actions) : origin and rough estimations Supports Deformation under loading, relationship between force and stress inside a section. Material : opportunities / threats (physical, mechanical, environmental) and rough properties Bearing - Spanning - Bracing Classical structural systems (context - behaviour - intrinsic limitations - pre-design rules) 3D FEM for visualisation of stresses and strains Internal actions in structures (physical aspects - estimations).
