      Content of Learning Activity

The course is based on the alternance of preselected practical examples of drawings according to the advancement of learning and applied punctually in exercises (DAO) to consolidate the gains. These exercises are limited at the DAO, 2 drawing dimensions (x, y) for the first year: plan, section, façade.
      The student is trained to:
      1. A good choice of graphic representation: freehand drawing, CAD systems.
      2. The use and selection of appropriate software to meet specific graphical expression: CAD (AutoCAD or VectorWorks), following Adobe, CAD software (ScketchUp).
      3. Work on screen (1: 1, 2D)
3.1. File Organization (management of trees, Xref, ...)
3.2. Management of the work surface
      3.3. Layer management
      3.4. Print management and printers
      4. Work on paper (various scales)
      4.1. graphic conventions
4.2. Layout and readability plans (appropriate scale)

      Required Learning Resources/Tools

      Learning is achieved when:
      - Based on existing examples presentations and critical analysis of them, chosen by the teacher
      - Based on the design of software and graphic layout in the context of practical work.
The collection of examples are presented and ranked according to Moodle based learning elements:
      - Presentation of Documents
      - Drawing Documents
The graphical input is essential as part of the course, the examples are based on PowerPoint files (and a OpenSource version) that each constitute a coherent example to showcase the taught specific item. This document serves as referencing the student to read.
Note: A blog can be posted (administered by the teacher) describing continuously and dynamically references available on the internet such as earnings announcements international competitions or projects presented by architectural firms via their websites), supplemented by a critical analysis.
