    Content of Learning Activity

    The city is dependent on its surrounding space for many resources, natural or not: water, energy, information (communication), people (employees), waste, freight ... Therefore, the city must be connected to a series of networks to import and export these resources, and organized for these resources to be distributed among its members throughout the urban space. How do cities proceed? How have they process in history until today, and what are the challenges of nowadays? The lesson objective is to describe the urban strategies of creation and management of these urban networks.
