Integrated Assessment: There will be an overall assessment for the entire Programme component (UE) instead of individual assessments for each Teaching Activity (AA)

      Objectives of general skills

      • Actively master the fundamental concepts and models of economic sciences and management sciences
        • Understand the methods and tools adapted to the field of economics and management
      • Critically compare knowledge acquired to real situations.
        • Develop and structure reasoning by basing it on suitable scientific arguments

      UE's Learning outcomes

After this course, the students will be able to
      - understand and make good use of the mathematical and statistical tools usefull for economists and managers
      - represent and analyse a set of statistical data
      - control the bases of probability theory.

      UE Content

      Matrices and linear equations systems
Functions of one or several variables

Term 1 for Integrated Assessment - type

      • Written examination

Term 1 for Integrated Assessment - comments

This integrated test Q1 concerns the content of the Learning Activity "<em>Bases mathématiques pour l'économie et la gestion, partie 1</em>" :
      - one written examination (the score is denoted M1 below).

Term 2 for Integrated Assessment - type

      • Written examination

Term 2 for Integrated Assessment - comments

This integrated test Q2 concerns the <strong><u>whole</u></strong> content of the Programme Component "<em>Méthodes quantitatives </em>1"
      - one written examination for "<em>Statistique </em>1" (the score is denoted S2 below)
      - one written examination for "<em>Bases mathématiques pour l'économie et la gestion</em>, partie 1 <strong><u>AND</u></strong> partie 2" (the score is denoted M2 below)
The global score for the Programme Component is calculated as follows :
      - if M1 is higher than M2 : global score = 0.35 * S2 + 0.23 * M1 + 0.42 * M2
      - if M1 is lower than M2 : global score = 0.35 * S2 + 0.65 * M2

Term 3 for Integrated Assessment - type

      • Written examination

Term 3 for Integrated Assessment - comments

This integrated test Q3 concerns the <strong><u>whole</u></strong> content of the Programme Component "<em>Méthodes quantitatives </em>1"
      - one written examination for "<em>Statistique </em>1" (the score is denoted S3 below)
      - one written examination for "<em>Bases mathématiques pour l'économie et la gestion</em>, partie 1 <strong><u>AND</u></strong> partie 2" (the score is denoted M3 below)
The global score for the Programme Component is calculated as follows :
      - global score = 0.35 * S3 + 0.65 * M3
