      After this course, the students will be able to: -Understand the basic foundations of the classical microeconomic theory presented in a quantitative way. -Acquire a wider knowledge of real markets and their evolution.

      -Consumer behaviour: static and dynamic analyses, individual and market demand, elasticities, ... -Production and cost theory: short and long run, cost minimising production choices, ... -Profit maximisation in competitive markets, monopoly, oligopolistic market equilibrium (classical approach).
