      Objectives of general skills

      • Conduct extensive research and development projects related to biological sciences, in the biology of organisms and ecology.
        • Apply, mobilise, articulate and promote the knowledge and skills acquired in order to help lead and complete a project.
        • Contributing to a project by mastering its complexity and taking into account the objectives, allocated resources and constraints that characterise it.
      • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy.
        • Pursue further training and develop new skills independently.

      UE's Learning outcomes

To master techniques in aquariology. After a theoretical introduction to aquariology, students will learn how to manage an artificial mesocosm, and will elaborate their own project to create and manage virtually their own mesocosm.

      UE Content

Aquariology, filtration techniques, maintenance and reproduction of aquatic organisms. Artificial mesocosms: design and maintenance.

      Prior experience

      Marine ecology, basic chemistry.
