      Objectives of general skills

      • Instruct a question on architecture and urban planning
        • Identify and articulate the various components constituting an architectural, urban or territorial context
        • Master the contemporary societal issues of spatial planning
        • Consolidate their architectural and urban culture with a research approach

      UE's Learning outcomes

      At the end of the course, students will be able to : 1. master the historical and critical elements to clearly define the aesthetic, political and social current challenges of artistic creation, whether plastic or architectural. 2. understand how each particular creative approach activates a unique history of art. 3. understand the relationship that develops between works and the place of their registration.  

      UE Content

      Art and Architecture is a course about critical theory of contemporary art. Three main themes underly the course: 1. The analysis of a new conceptualization, that is to say a new way of seeing or identifying artistic works: plastic arts. 2. The analysis of the relationship between contemporary art and works from the past. 3. The study of new spaces that contemporary creation has allowed to open.
