    Contents

    Technical drawing: general principles of presentation, views, sections, threaded elements, dimensioning, tolerancing, functional dimensioning, bill of materials.  

    Dimensional metrology: language of dimensional measurement, principles for geometrical tolerancing, envelope requirement, maximum material requirement, dimensional metrology instruments, inspection of geometrical deviations, measurement uncertainty.

    The evaluation is based on the results of the :
    - technical drawing exercises (5%) ;
    - quoted exercices (5%);
    - Solid Works laboratories (10%) ;
    - dimensional metrology laboratories (15%) ;
    - written examination organized during the regular examination period (65%).
    The maximum length of the written examination is 4 hours.

    Idem Term 2 examination period if the results of the technical drawing exercises, Solid Works laboratories, dimensional metrology laboratories are globally higher than or equal to 10/20.
