      - Transport and sedimentation (by water, wind, ice)
      - Tectonic forces, rock deformation and seismis hazard
      - Hazard related to karst
      - Risk related to clays
      - Hydrogeology (groundwater), subsidence problems, and geothermy
      - Practical sessions on rock identification
      - Practical sessions on geologial map interpretation
      - Geological field trip to illustrate the course main concepts

      Students will be evaluated based on :
      - theoretical concepts presented in class (25% of the final score - oral examination)
      - the identification of 5 rock samples (25% of the final score - oral examination)
      - a discussion regarding the geological hazards for a spectific case study (25% of the final score - oral examination)
      - the reports of the geological field trip (25% of the final score - deadline a few weeks before the oral examination according to the instructions provided in class)
