As future designers of space and atmosphere, students are encouraged to study architecture from a thematic analysis based on the concept of “place”. This analysis starts from a definition of the concept in terms of what it is and what it wants to be, as a whole and its interactions with other places. Architectural “places” will be compared to those created by both contemporary and ancient artists.
