Prérequis

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Communicate in a structured way - visually, orally and in writing, in French and English - giving clear, accurate, and reasoned information
    • Argue to and persuade a project owner, teachers and a board orally, with visual aids and in writing
    • Use several methods of written and graphic communication: text, tables, equations, sketches, maps, graphs, etc.
    • Give an effective oral presentation, using presentation materials appropriately
    • Use the English language to "advanced independent user" level, equivalent to B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and independence throughout their studies
    • Demonstrate self-awareness, asses themself, and develop appropriate learning strategies.
    • Develop scientific and cultural curiosity and open-mindedness
    • Learn to use various resources made available to inform and train independently

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this unit, students will have developed and reinforced their skills in attending lectures/seminars in English, on subjects relevant to their field of study.They will have to sit an external test, IELTS Academic Profile, in reading, listening comprehension, writing and speaking, and obtain an overall score of 6.0 minimum.
