      The 'descriptive statistics' exam will consist in a written test and will be sat remotely. It will cover the contents of the theoretical and practical classes, which have been delivered face-to-face and remotely.

      Content of Learning Activity

      DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS (1st QUARTER)
      One-dimension descriptive statistics : tables and diagrams of frequencies; position and dispersion parameters of a frequencies distribution. Two-dimensions descriptive statistics : regression and correlation.

      PROBABILITY THEORY (2nd QUARTER)
      Random experiments and events. The different approaches of the concept of probability. Random variables and distribution of probability. Particular distributions. Mathematical expectation and variance. Independance of random variables. Some fundamental theorems.
