Organisational arrangements for the end of Q1 2020-2021 assessments (Covid-19) online or face-to-face (according to assessment schedule)

    • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)

Description of the modifications to the Q1 2020-2021 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) online or face-to-face (according to assessment schedule)

The written exam will consist of a Moodle test.
The weight of the exam in the final mark is 90% (10% for the workshops).
If CoViD constraints prevent the students to physically attend workshops, the weight of the exam will be 100%.

    Content of Learning Activity

Sensors for position, velocity, acceleration and force measurement: physical principle, electro-mechanical conversion, bandwidth, accuracy.
Signal conditioning: amplification, filtering, protection wrt perturbations, background noise.
Analogue to digital conversion: usual converters, sample and hold, multiplexing.
Analogue transmission: transmission modes (voltage, current) and disturbances.
    Intelligent sensors.
