Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Actively master the fundamental concepts and models of economic sciences and management sciences
    • Understand how organisations and markets work
  • Mobilise communication skills in two languages other than French, both orally and in writing, as a presentation of an argument or piece of research in accordance with scientific ethics.
    • Communicate in a clear and structured manner on issues of economics and management
  • Critically compare knowledge acquired to real situations.
    • Identify and explain the concepts, principles and models of fundamental theoretical trends in economic sciences and management sciences and their applications.
    • Develop and structure reasoning by basing it on suitable scientific arguments
    • Demonstrate an acute sense of analysis, criticism and ethics in relation to various issues in economics and management.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the instruction, the students will be able to:
- Understand why conflicts are inevitable in any activity but can be factors of progress ·        
- Analyze the causes and the various types of conflicts
- Understand the stages of conflict development  
- Set up an approach and effective tools to analyze conflicts, solve and prevent conflicts ·
- Understand the importance of communication      
- Think about negotiation process

Content of UE

There are 4 chapters :
1) conflict management : this chapter presents different type of conflicts ant the way to prevent and manage them
2) negotiations : this chapter presents different type of negotiations and the way to them
3) difficult employees management :  this chapter explain what is a difficult employee and how take action with such employees
4) communication : this chapter exposes different communication methods and presents transactional analysis Role plays and case studies are used during classes
