Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate working and analytical rigour.
    • Be rigorous and independent in learning, particularly through adequate planning of activities to be undertaken in order to best utilise the time available.
    • Demonstrate self-awareness, assess themself, and adapt.

Learning Outcomes of UE

The learner at the top of this level should be able to : Understand many simple expressions of everyday functions in familiar situations and follow simplified stories or information. Initiate basic conversations and produce questions and answers. Write simple sentences on a connected given topic. The first part (AA1) represents 30% of the global mark and the second part (AA2), 70%.

Structure exercises (verb conjugation, grammar, vocabulary) Situational and thematic roleplay - Various readings - Exercises and phonetic correction

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

Weighting AA2 : 70% The exam will cover the course content of AA1 and AA2. Upon request, the students may be exempt from the content of AA1 if their grades for the January exam exceed 10/20. AA2 will represent 70% of the grade. The final grade for the UE will therefore be 30% AA1 + 70% AA2.

Written examination : 100% Students must earn a grade of at least 10 by the end of the terms (June report). Those who haven't satisfied this requirement must resit. They'll then be examined on the whole course (AA1+AA2 from September to June).
