Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Mobilise communication skills in two languages other than French, both orally and in writing, as a presentation of an argument or piece of research in accordance with scientific ethics.
    • Understand, synthesise and discuss complex information and texts, expressed in English and at least one other language.
    • Communicate in a clear and structured manner on issues of economics and management

Learning Outcomes of UE

By the end of the course the student will be able to:
- understand texts related to economics and global issues
- express his or her opinion on any topic related to economics and global issues

The student will therefore be expected to:
- produce grammatically correct English in an academic context
- develop fluency through productive skills (writing and speaking) 

By the end of this course, the student must reach a B1-level (CFCR).
 

Content of UE

- vocabulary and grammar exercises (self-study)
- reading (texts related to economics and global issues)
- listening exercises 
- online exercises
 

Prior Experience

Basic grammar and vocabulary (A1 level). Students with no knowledge of English are strongly encouraged to attend the remedial classes throughout the whole academic year.
