Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Skill 1: Have acquired highly specialised and integrated knowledge and broad skills inbiological sciences, adding to those covered in the Bachelor's programme in biological sciences.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course students will be able to grasp at the molecular basis of  cellular complexity

Content of UE

Proteomics: introduction 
Structure of proteins 
Folding of proteins 
Prediction of the protein function 
Introduction to the mass spectrometry associated to biological polymers 
Interactions of proteins (interactome) 
Prediction of the function based to the 3D structure and to the potential interaction
