Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Master legal documents so as to practise the profession properly
  • Master the disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge that justifies educational activity
  • Develop relational skills related to the requirements of the profession
  • Work as a team within the school
  • Develop teaching devices, and test, evaluate and regulate them
  • Maintain a critical and autonomous relationship with scientific knowledge

Learning Outcomes of UE

Learning to teaching chemistry, experimental science for secondary education;
Learn effective approaches
Understand correctly the legal and regulatory context of secondary education;
Initiate a reflective process on its practices, knowledge;
Locate chemistry teaching in relation to other aspects of education;
Opening on universal aspects (international) and education research.

- To become a science teacher
- The regulatory framework I (skills, methodological programs and guidelines)
- Courses (scientific approach, basic acquired complex tasks, overall pattern lessons, experimentation)
- Educational Models (styles and teaching strategies, learning styles and psychological profiles, school rhythms)
- The active teaching methods
- Didactic research (chemistry)
- Evaluation
- Misconceptions
- Develop a sequence of lessons, write a lesson preparation
- Chemistry, Environment and Sustainable Development
- Use and role of technology in education
- Safety and hygiene, practical work
- The role of organic chemistry in the chemistry course
- History and epistemology image of chemistry, news
- Specification of basic sciences, general sciences, vocational and technical secondary education qualification
- Difficulties, diversities and inequalities students
- The preparation for higher education

Prior Experience

Good knowledge of chemistry, its specificities
Owning a scientific general knowledge
Have the ability to communicate, disseminate, to a non-expert public
Master the basic ICT
