 Establish simple properties or explain demonstrations ; Model real situations using classical probability distributions; Calculate the parameters of a distribution; Calculate probabilities identifying four countingstandard situations; Graph and summarize statistical data; Construct an interval containing almost certainly the value of a parameter of a distribution; Testing the assumptions made on the value of parameters
Content of UE
concepts of probability: random variables and distribution; classical distributions; random vectors; independence; correlation; regression; normal distribution; central limit theorem;
concepts of statistics: modeling real situations by probability plot and summary statistics; covariance; correlation; regression; independence; estimation intervals (mean, proportion, variance); hypothesis testing (mean, variance, proportion and comparisons).
