Learning Outcomes of UE

Students will be able to synthesize landscape, urbanism and sociology data through three diagnoses. The global diagnosis will articulate the three scales around the neighborhood to be programmed through several scenarios. Their critical discussion will lead to the proposal of a layout plan useful to the Q2 workshop project. The definition of this global learning achievement can be developed within each AA.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q1

  • Presentation and/or works
  • Oral examination
  • Written examination

Q1 UE Assessment Comments

The overall EU score is calculated based on weightings that will be communicated to the course.
Warning :
The overall EU can be validated if the student has a maximum of 3 points cumulated below the average of 10/20 in one or more reports (for example a 7/20, three 9/20 or an 8/20 and two 9 / 20). In the case of more than 3 points of cumulated balance (for example, a 6/20 or two 8/20 etc.), the overall EU is not validated and the note entered in the bulletin is the note the lowest report evaluation.
(Successful AA may be conserved for Q3 assessment.)
A successful AA is not postponed from one year to another: the whole EU must be remade.
If the AA "Sociologie urbaine et programmation de l'habitat" has already been submeted once, the test will consist into a written exam (For details, see Q3).

Type of Assessment for UE in Q3

  • Presentation and/or works
  • Oral examination
  • Written examination

Q3 UE Assessment Comments

Each AA adopts its specific mode of evaluation.
AA  Landscape : Oral exam, based on the written work of Q1 and the theory seen during the lectures.
AA Urban planing : Oral exam, based on the written work of Q1 and the theory seen during the lectures.
AA Sociology II - Urban Sociology and Habitat Programming :The exam is written and covers the theoretical and practical material given in the course (see course, syllabus, "TP" and Moodle). The Practical Work of Q1 (Transcription, Mind Map ... but no longer the report) intervenes in the final grade of Q3. So, in case of Q3, Q4 (Q5 ...), the report is replaced by a written exam. For more information see Moodle.
