      Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2019-2020 assessments (Covid-19)
      • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)
      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2019-2020 online assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      The exam will cover the topics studied in class, along with what was made available on Moodle. The exam might be an open question and / or multiple choice questions. The teacher reserves the right to test one or more aspects of the course, namely: vocabulary, , reading comprehension, or writing. Students will not be tested on their ability to speak, nor listening skills. 
      Details of what needs to be memorized will be provided on Moodle. 

      Content of Learning Activity

      Topics of general interest and relevant to engineering are discussed (engineering, environment, energy, etc.) Productive skills, speaking and writing, will be developed in class through activities such as taking notes and oral / written reports of documents made available to students (reverse class principle), working in groups and debates. Minimum level expected in these skills: A2 + Finally, an introduction to the language of scientific communication (English for Specific Purposes) will also be initiated through these themes and associated activities.

      Compulsory: Macmillan English Grammar in Context, Intermediate, Macmillan Edition, 2008.
