    Content of Learning Activity

    The course content is organised into two parts.
    The first is based on the description of ecosystems, aqueous and gaseous pollution, impacts of human activities on the environment and on ecosystems.
    The second part is dedicated to the study of the properties of natural water and aqueous pollution, environmental legislation in the field of urban wastewater.
    The individual and collective treatment of water for drinking and sanitation are discussed: primary (mechanical and physico-chemical), secondary (biological / chemical) and tertiary treatment (elimination of nitrogen and phosphorus), treatment of sludge, and individual purification stations.
    Two visits of watertreatment plant will be organized.
