Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Deal with the duties and ethical dilemmas of the profession
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams by sharing collective responsibility for training
  • Anchor the content and actions in professional reality targeted by the training
  • Plan courses and design appropriate educational devices for adults

Learning Outcomes of UE

This programme is defined by the article 6 of the Decree of the Belgian French Community, July 17, 2002, defining the "Certificat d'aptitude pédagogique approprié à l'enseignement supérieur (CAPAES)" in higher education schools and its conditions to get it. <em>"The practice analysis axis aims at mastering pedagogical competences while in the course of one's duty</em>". <em>"The professional development axis enables to meet specificities of each higher education field".</em>

Content of UE

The content of this programme is included in the article 6 of the Decree of the Belgian French Community, July 17, 2002, defining the "Certificat d'aptitude pédagogique approprié à l'enseignement supérieur (CAPAES)" in higher education schools.

The CAPAES students' pedagogical practice is assessed by both UMONS members and tutoring team members from the student's higher education school. The assessment consists in a reflexive report written by the student, submitted before the exam session and assessed by the training tutor at UMons. It is accompanied by a written report made and signed by the tutoring team from the higher education school and by an evaluation made by the tutor from UMONS.
