Learning Outcomes of UE

The aim of this course is to provide students with advanced notions of structure and function of the different elements of human ocular globes. The last chapter gives a comparative histology of eyes and their evolution among Vertebrates

Content of UE

Advanced cytological and histological description of human eye components. Functions of the different eye structures and major pathologies affecting human vision. Comparative study of morphology and functions of visual organs in Vertebrates
