Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
The major aims of this course are to develop an understanding of the human body at cell and tissue levels. The morphological study of tissues is of importance since it allows the integration with other course such as physiology, immunology, biochemistry or cell biology. Finally, this course is an indispensable prerequisite for further study of Histology of organs (course of Special Histology) and Histopathology.
Content of UE
General histology involves the study of cells and tissue structures in the human body using light and electron microscopy. General histology : Structure of the cell, epithelial cells, contractile cells, connective tissue, nervous tissue, blood cells and bone marrow.
