Content of Learning Activity
Reinforced concrete : strength classes, reinforcement steel, steel proportion, design of reinforcement, strength of elements subjected to compression, bending, shear, computation of deflections taking creeping into account.
Prestressed concrete : technological principles, comparison with reinforced concrete.
Steel structures : strength of elements subjected to compression, bending, shear and buckling.
Soil mechanics : active and passive earth pressures, permeability, soil settlements.
Foundations : shallow and deep fondations.
